  • before work begins, we establish whether the company needs individual tasks, regular support or full IT outsourcing

First steps

  • a conversation about the problems that currently slow the company down
  • an inventory of users, devices, accounts, services and client-side contacts
  • agreeing the ticket process, support hours and people authorised to request changes
  • a plan for the first actions and the order of issues to be put in order
A clear way to handle tickets

What everyday IT support means for a company

Everyday IT support is not limited to fixing individual faults. Its purpose is to give employees a defined way to get help and to show the company who handles a problem and what happens next.

We receive and organise the ticket

We establish who reports the issue, what it concerns, how many employees it affects and whether it blocks work. This separates an urgent outage from work that can be planned without interrupting the team.

We investigate remotely

First we review the account, settings, error messages and available technical information. Many email, access, application and printing problems can be solved without travelling to the office.

We arrange on-site work when it is required

If an issue needs a physical check of a computer, network device, cabling or workstation installation, we agree the visit date and work scope. The client knows who will arrive and what the work covers.

We close the issue and reduce repeat incidents

After solving a problem, we report the actions taken. For recurring events, we propose a configuration change, user instruction or access review so that the same situation does not return unnecessarily.

The support scope, contact channels, support hours and ticket response time are agreed before regular work begins. We do not promise continuous availability outside the agreed scope without an appropriate contract.

How we agree the support rules

First we review the current IT environment and identify issues that need urgent diagnosis. We then agree the scope of responsibility, ticket process, support hours and response times. These arrangements can be described in an SLA, a service-level agreement that defines the support service.
