Business domain and DNS management

We organise business domains, registrar access and DNS record changes. First we diagnose the domain state and the impact of a planned change, then agree the work to be done.

Business domains

  • an inventory of domains, registrars and authorised people
  • organising access and registrant data
  • reviewing renewals, transfers and critical dates

DNS records

  • diagnosis of the existing configuration
  • changes to agreed records, such as A, MX, SPF, DKIM or DMARC
  • verification of propagation and impact on mail, a site or a service

Service boundaries

  • we do not operate a DNS service or hosting
  • we do not guarantee domain recovery or the outcome of a legal dispute
  • we make changes after diagnosis and within an agreed scope
Configuration diagnosis first

A DNS record change can affect mail, a site and other services

A single DNS change can affect a website, mail or an external service. Before making it, we verify who manages the domain, which records are active and the safe way to introduce the change.

1. Inventory

We establish the registrar, available accounts, current records and services that depend on the domain.

2. Impact assessment

We check whether the planned change affects a site, mail, sender authentication or an external integration.

3. Agreed execution

Before the change, we confirm the scope, maintenance window and a way to revert the configuration if needed.

4. Verification

After the change, we verify propagation and the operation of agreed services.

When the issue is lost access to a domain, we first assess the technical options. We do not replace a registrar or lawyer, and we do not promise an outcome before diagnosis.

How we start

First we establish the current state and the required diagnostic scope. For ongoing subscription support, we then agree responsibility, SLA, ticket flow and a plan for taking over access, documentation and monitoring.
